Nevada Apprentice Workforce Convening and Training: EEO Requirements and Recruiting Strategies for Registered Apprenticeships.

This free, action-packed, in-person convening and training promises to be an afternoon of learning, networking, and strengthening important partnerships. The program will include leaders from Nevada’s Office of the Labor Commissioner, Nevada Department of Transportation, United States Department of Labor, Brightline West, and more about upcoming construction mega projects, contemporary approaches to recruitment and retention, and EEO requirements. In addition to an impressive speaker agenda, attendees will hear from a panel of talent pipeline experts and benefit from a structured networking session that promises to help establish working partnerships between registered apprenticeship program administrators and the many local community-based organizations having access to diverse pools of jobseekers throughout Nevada.
This informative convening for RAP staff, JATCs, Labor Representatives, and Signatory Contractors, is just in time for the surge of new plans and projects exclusive to the Sagebrush State. Community based organizations serving job-seekers are welcome to register as vendors for the development and/or nurturing of partnerships with apprenticeships.
