Floorlayers Joint Apprenticeship Program

This event is designed to give prospective apprentices an in-depth look into the comprehensive four-year apprenticeship program, which covers the installation of hardwood, ceramic, resilient, and carpet flooring. Participants will develop the technical skills and expertise needed to succeed in each flooring discipline throughout the program. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Apprenticeship Training Coordinator, who will provide a complete overview of the program, including its structure, expectations, and career opportunities. Participants will also tour each of the four classrooms, where they will meet the department leads for hardwood, ceramic, resilient, and carpet flooring. Each lead will deliver a presentation detailing the specialized training and knowledge required for their respective discipline. This event offers a valuable opportunity to explore the program, ask questions, and gain insight into the diverse skills needed in our trade.
