Join Daniel Serota, Chair of the Illinois Workforce Investment Board Committee and Vice President of Government & Public Relations at Aon and Debra Cremeens-Risinger, Illinois State Director, US Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship for the official State of Illinois kick-off to National Apprenticeship Week. The event will include a presentation of a NAW proclamation to Heartland Community College recognizing its leading role advancing the development of DOL Registered Apprenticeships in Illinois and a signing ceremony recognizing the newest class of employees accepting the opportunity to upskill through registered apprenticeships and their visionary employers investing in their employees and communities to build the diverse, equitable talent of today and tomorrow.
