Please join the Alaska Joint Electrical Apprenticeship & Training Trust, the NECA Alaska Chapter and the IBEW Local 1547 as we bring together industry leaders, teachers and frontline workers to prioritize mental wellness and safety across Alaska’s electrical industry. Featuring keynote speakers Tom Murphy and Rick Yarosh with Sweethearts & Heroes, the summit will highlight powerful stories and strategies for HOPE, connection, and resilience within our workforce. Attendees will engage in breakout sessions designed to build belonging, enhance communication, and support a safer, healthy culture on every jobsite. The event also includes suicide prevention training, equipping participants with practical tools to recognize warning signs, support peers, and create safer workplaces. Together, these transformative experiences will empower Alaska’s electrical workforce to lead with compassion, prioritize mental health, and build stronger, safer communities.
