Event Description

Build My Future (BMF) is an annual, hands-on construction and skilled trades career fair for Iowa high school students, featuring thousands of participants and hundreds of industry exhibits. Held annually in Des Moines (with regional events), it connects students with employers for mentorship, internships, and hiring through interactive demos like welding, plumbing, and framing.
