Event Description

Madison County Employment & Training and St. Clair Intergovernmental Grants Department Workforce Development Group are bringing together educators, businesses, workforce development entities, elected officials, and the general public for a Roundtable to discuss the use of apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeships in Southwestern Illinois. There will be panel presentations from regional business partners discussing plans and the usage of apprenticeships as a talent pool solution. Additionally, a discussion on pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeships, internships, work-based learning, and how to establish a talent pipeline for businesses.
