Breaking Barriers to Employment through Apprenticeship

Please join Grow Apprenticeship California in celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2023. Hear from a panel of community-based organizations that are using apprenticeship as a strategy to address the needs of their communities, meet workforce challenges, and help underrepresented groups achieve self-sufficiency and economic prosperity. Our panelists include esteemed colleagues from the field that represent organizations participating in the Breaking Barriers to Employment grant through the California Workforce Development Board and Foundation for California Community Colleges. The intersection of the Breaking Barriers and apprenticeship work highlights the unique role that community-based organizations can play in increasing access to apprenticeship throughout the state.
