Event Description

ECEPTS is nationally recognized for pioneering efforts in creating and sustaining Registered Apprenticeships for the Early Care and Education (ECE) industry. Registered ECE Youth Apprenticeship programs provide work-based learning, paid employment, college credit, and industry-recognized credentials. Upon graduation from high school, participants are eligible to assume full-time positions in early learning centers and childcare programs. As well, ECE Youth Apprenticeships provide foundational training and education for a variety of career pathways (e.g., Child Care, Early Intervention, Expanded Learning, Head Start, Home Visitation, Pre-Kindergarten, Social Services). In this live webinar, members of the ECEPTS team discuss the recently launched ECEPTS Youth Apprenticeship program that is a collaboration with multiple high schools across the Oakland Unified School District in California.
