Event Description

Join the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) in celebrating National Apprenticeship Week with a daily webinar series for Chicago Housing Authority residents to learn about the benefits of Construction Pre-Apprenticeship/Apprenticeship programs and how to join/participate. This session is focused on the Carpenters' Apprenticeship Union Trade Process. The rewards of completing a Mid-America Carpenters apprenticeship program include developing valuable, job-ready skills and earning good wages and benefits. Receive on-the-job training through employers with agreements with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America—North America's largest building trades union. You’ll also receive classroom instruction at a Mid-America Carpenters training center during the apprenticeship.
