Event Description

The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices, with funding and support from Cognizant, is hosting the Governors Apprenticeship Innovation Summit on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona. The Governors Apprenticeship Innovation Summit will bring together public and private partners to explore state best practices and policy options to expand apprenticeship opportunities in celebration of National Apprenticeship Week. Attendees hear from state and national experts on strategies to increase employer engagement in apprenticeship, align apprenticeship systems with state economic development strategy, and develop apprenticeship pathways priorities industries, including the technology sector.
