Making Connections 2024

Join Transit Workforce Center, FTA’s national technical assistance center for workforce development, for Making Connections 2024 - The National Transit Workforce Conference, November 11-13, 2024, in Baltimore, Maryland’s vibrant Inner Harbor! This unique event brings together a diverse array of transit stakeholders, including agencies, unions, nonprofits, government, education, and workforce development organizations. Organized around the FTA’s National Transit Workforce Development Strategic Plan goals, sessions will feature key industry players, workshops, and dialogue addressing the full range of transit workforce needs, and a keynote address by FTA Acting Administrator Veronica Vanterpool. An optional pre-conference day, Monday, November 11, offers in-depth, intensive workshops on some of TWC’s most in-demand areas, culminating with an evening reception recognizing veterans in the industry.
