NJMEP, ECCC Debut Apprenticeship Bridge to College Credit Program

Essex County College and the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program are partnering to debut the Apprenticeship Bridge to College Credit program to provide people with ample pathways to careers. The program is open to apprentices in the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program’s industrial manufacturing production technician program, making them eligible to earn up to eight credits during their time in the course and then offering direct access to ECCC upon completion. After acquiring an Associates’s degree, students have the option to continue on at the New Jersey Institute of Technology working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
