General News

Northampton Community College and Lehigh Carbon Community College will be training 25  Lehigh Valley residents in machining. The program will teach students the fundamentals of the profession — applied mathematics, blueprint reading and machine use necessary in any job in the field. The program aims to match previously unemployed or underemployed students with potential employers and ensure students secure National Institute of Metalworking Skills, or NIMS, certifications.
