Every month IndyGo hosts a graduation ceremony for bus operators and other teammates that have completed training. This event marks a milestone for Bus Operator Apprentices as it denotes the completion of the training requirement of the apprenticeship and Trainees transition to officially become Professional Bus Operators. At this event, City County Councilor Evans and IndyGo leadership and training team members will be in attendance to recognize graduates. Fellow staff, friends, and family of graduates are invited to attend as well.

The activity is a team-building event and lunch for the nine apprentices at Airbus Helicopters Columbus, designed to create a high-pressure environment that mimics a production deadline. Participants: Nine apprentices, split into three teams of three. Activity: Teams will build a helicopter model from identical, pre-sorted "Kits" of materials sourced mainly from the warehouse.
