    After nearly seven years, the Guam Registered Apprenticeship Program, GRAP, has received official rules and regulations.With these rules and regulations, signed into law on Tuesday as Public Law 38-108 by Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero, the program has a “solid, enforceable structure to ensure the program is fair, transparent, and accountable,” said Guam Department of Labor Director David Dell’Isola.

    Apprenticeship state director, ATR, and workforce integration specialist along with the MT DLI Office of Reentry supervisor toured the MT State Prison industry shops with Montana Correctional Enterprises. Tour included wood shop, automotive, welding, print, industrial sewing and food service. Many of these shops have pre-apprenticeship programs within. Montana RAP is working with Department of Corrections to review and overhaul pre-apprenticeship programs, and it was impressive and eye-opening to see the facilities and speak with some of the actual pre-apprentices participating in these…

    The Mobile Field Trip is a FREE experience that brings a 44-foot trailer right to your school so students have the opportunity to see what a career as a carpenter or millwright could look like.
