Preparing Opportunity Youth for Career Pathways

In this one hour webinar, YouthBuild Charter School of California (YCSC) will share how we prepare opportunity youth (youth ages 16-24 who were previously disconnected from work and school) for career pathways and apprenticeships through education, hands-on training, and leadership development. YCSC and its YouthBuild program partners offer opportunities for hands-on job training, pre-apprenticeships, work-based learning, and career exploration in several fields, including construction, culinary arts, and advanced manufacturing (COYA). In this session, you'll have an opportunity to hear from a panel of current YouthBuild Charter School students and alumni about their experiences with job training and pre-apprenticeship programs and ask questions.
