The Summit aims to demystify the concept of Registered Apprenticeships—an "earn while you learn" model endorsed by the U.S. Department of Labor that combines on-the-job training with technical instruction. Attendees will discover how these apprenticeships can transform their workforce by providing high-quality training to new and current employees, enhancing their competitive edge. The event will offer practical insights, collaboration opportunities, and expert guidance to help employers, industry stakeholders, and educational partners in Eastern Kentucky strengthen and sustain their regional workforce.
