Event Description

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services' HRSA Administration will offer a session at this NACHC Conference which will highlight findings and lessons learned from HRSA’s Quality Improvement Fund Maternal Health Project, which supported 36 health centers in implementing patient-directed projects to improve maternal health outcomes. Over two years, health centers piloted models such as doula and community health worker (CHW) integration, group prenatal care, and remote patient monitoring—each grounded in a quality improvement framework. The session will explore how health centers built workforce capacity, strengthened systems, and engaged communities to address maternal morbidity and mortality. Presenters will share implementation insights, evaluation findings, and practical tools. This is just one of many conference sessions focused on workforce and leadership strategies that drive sustainable change targeting Community Health Center administrators.
