Join us for a one-hour session exploring Registered Apprenticeship and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) as key workforce development strategies. You’ll learn the fundamentals of apprenticeship, including program structure, sponsor responsibilities, benefits, and steps to get started, with Medical Assisting used as a practical example. The session will also provide an overview of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), including available training and funding opportunities such as support for roles like LNA and MA, as well as On-the-Job Training (OJT). Gain a clearer understanding of how these approaches can support workforce recruitment, training, and retention. The session will be recorded.
