Event Description

Come join us at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry for a day filled with learning and growth! Our workshops are designed specifically for apprenticeship instructors looking to enhance their teaching skills. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this training has something here for everyone so don't miss out on this opportunity to invest in yourself and your students!

Apprenticeship Minnesota is offering a series of two in-person workshops that will also have a virtual option designed to support instructors in registered apprenticeship programs. These workshops will cover adult learning theory, effective teaching techniques and evaluating effectiveness and adapting over time. Participants can network with other instructors, share their experiences as educators, learn strategies to support apprentices with diverse learning styles to enhance their educating skills as well as gain valuable insights to take back to your classroom.

Join us for this collaborative training workshop featuring engaging group activities and thoughtful discussions led by Professor Catherine “CJ” Johnson, and Erin Lewis. This workshop is ideal for anyone involved in educating registered apprentices.
