America’s Talent Strategy: Building the Workforce for the Golden Age describes the administration’s priority for expanding Registered Apprenticeship opportunities for American workers, including new workers. Learn more about industry-driven strategies to intentionally align your program to expand Registered Apprenticeships (RA) for young people.
Bridging the gap between Registered Apprenticeship opportunities for youth and the public workforce system helps improve the quality of life for job seekers, including youth, through an integrated, job-driven system.
One strategy to scale Registered Apprenticeship opportunities for youth nationwide is increased system integration with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program. Collaboration between WIOA Youth Program and Registered Apprenticeships provide an opportunity to align education and training programs to career pathways, and targets investments for upskilling initiatives and filling talent shortages in priority industries.
This webinar will provide an overview of Registered Apprenticeships, an understanding of how Registered Apprenticeships align with America’s Talent Strategy, the benefits of Registered Apprenticeship opportunities for youth, and federal resources to implement or scale Registered Apprenticeship opportunities for youth nationwide.
