Event Description

On Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 10:00 am (CST) at 1145 Air Base Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36108, the center has invited numerous Apprenticeship Employers and agencies, including the State Office of Apprenticeship, to participate in a roundtable discussion with our students and staff regarding Apprenticeship opportunities for our students. Additionally, each of our construction trades will host a skill exhibition during this visit to showcase their skills in their respective trades. Additionally, apprenticeship partners will have the opportunity to present detailed information about their respective programs. This includes outlining training structures, mentorship components, certification opportunities, and the availability of paid apprenticeships. Emphasis will also be placed on long-term career pathways, allowing students to better understand how they can successfully transition from Job Corps training into registered apprenticeship programs and ultimately into high-demand careers.
