Event Description
With this webinar, AFA inaugurates its new "Tools of the Trade" series designed to provide apprenticeship practitioners with exposure to tools and technologies that can support their work in a roundtable format. In this webinar, we invite you to join an engaging roundtable discussion with BuildEd, where apprenticeship and workforce leaders will explore a persistent gap across training systems. Hard skills, technical skills, and soft skills are all incredibly important, yet a critical void exists. The most talented welder, coder, or truck driver does not always get the job, keep the job, or advance. That is because success on the job is not determined by degrees or talent alone. It is determined by performance. This gap between training and real-world success has been the central focus of BuildEd’s work for nearly ten years. Working alongside PhDs and practitioners, BuildEd developed the Career Performance Method™, a structured system for becoming a high performing, high value-added employee no matter the starting point.
