Event Description

Apprenticeships: The Construction of Human Capital Program

In the past few years, the ATO has developed programs not only for the trades but for a variety of industries including HR. Tara Lowe will share about the program, how it can benefit employers and the workforce, and information about funding the program. Additionally, Tara will bring an employer to share about their experience implementing apprenticeship programs and the benefits. The gap between number of openings and number of unemployed people continues to grow. Connecting future workers to opportunities is a crucial piece in closing the “training gap.”

Join Tara Loew as she shares the essential building blocks to building your workforce through a registered apprenticeship program.

1. Learn/raise awareness about the registered apprenticeship program.

2. Provide resources to help with recruiting and workforce development.

3. Opportunities to provide training and development for employees.
