The annual Registered Apprenticeship Signing Event is a regional celebration where students from Roanoke County, Roanoke City, Salem, and Botetourt formally commit to apprenticeship opportunities with local employers, recognizing their transition from high school into career pathways through hands-on training and workforce partnerships. This is a public facing event as it is during the pregame celebration to the minor league baseball game.

The Mobile Field Trip is a FREE experience that brings a 44-foot trailer right to your school so students have the opportunity to see what a career as a carpenter or millwright could look like. This is done as students cycle through our many stations which span from trivia games and hands-on tool use to augmented reality glasses in smaller groups.
