    Decision Day 2026: Seniors who have applied for an apprenticeship with IBEW Local 479 will officially sign their commitment letters. IBEW Local 479 is a regional chapter of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, a labor union representing electricians and electrical industry professionals. Based in Texas, Local 479 provides training through apprenticeship programs, advocates for fair wages and safe working conditions, and supports career development in the electrical trade.
