Event Description

Youth apprenticeship is a powerful strategy for expanding and diversifying the early care and education (ECE) workforce. Leaders from a large urban school district, a county office of education, and a community college will share how they design, implement, and sustain successful ECEPTS-sponsored youth apprenticeships in California. The session will highlight lessons learned, challenges and opportunities, family engagement, and grow-your-own pathways into children- and education-centered careers.
