Event Description

Join us for a panel discussion with this year's cohort of Apprentice Ambassadors and their employer sponsors. The Apprentice Ambassador program is an annual cohort housed under the Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship (WBLA) Committee. Each year, apprentices from across the state, representing a wide array of industries, are selected to give voice to the apprentice perspective and advocate the win-win model to businesses and other organizations. Each ambassador is sponsored by their employer and mentored by a member of the WBLA Committee. As part of this cohort, ambassadors have the opportunity to engage in professional development, networking, and public speaking. The program, in turn, provides them with professional development to equip them with the tools necessary to tell their story with a business engagement angle.
