Vision 2030: Building the Future of Registered Apprenticeship

Employers, industry leaders, labor, and public officials gathered to shape the future of the national apprenticeship system. Manny Lamarre, the deputy assistant secretary for ETA, highlighted the renaissance of apprenticeships and his vision for growth. The event unveiled the Urban Institute’s National Apprenticeship Resource Hub and featured interactive sessions from Jobs for the Future, Safal Partners, and the Council for State Governments. A panel with the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship, the National Education Association, and Google explored the future of work. USDOL’s Robin Fernkas and USDOC’s Dave Langdon reflected on the evolution and promise of Registered Apprenticeship for federal agencies.
