SFCC’s Broadband Networking & Job Fair

SFCC’s Broadband Networking & Job Fair event coincides with the final day of our five-day Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT) training programthat is part of a pilot Pre-Apprenticeship offered in partnership with New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions. Over 500 entry-level technicians who have trained through the five-day course and those SFCC has also supported through New Mexico's Workforce Solutions Building, Energizing and Connecting through Apprenticeships (BECA) program are invited annually to gather to meet with local leaders & employers. The 2nd annual event will include adjacent programs; 3D printing, Construction and Energy Trades workforce programs. The event is open to the public and a free to attend. New Mexico colleges, city and county leaders, and Broadband Employers will all be onsite for the event. Employers are encouraged to reserve a table to showcase current job openings or reserve a room for job interviews.
