Oklahoma National Apprenticeship Day Event

Please join us for our 11th Annual Apprenticeship Open House event on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at the IBEW Local 1141 Electrical Apprenticeship Training Center in Oklahoma City. As part of National Apprenticeship Day, this event will feature a presentation about many of the Oklahoma Building and Construction Trades successful Registered Apprenticeship Programs, as well as a facility tour of the IBEW Local 1141 Electrical Training Center. The event is free and open to the public, education and business community. The benefits are substantial – companies that offer Registered Apprenticeship Programs can diversify their workforce, improve productivity and profitability, standardize training, reduce turnover, receive tax credits and more. For apprentices, the average starting hourly wage is $20.94 per hour with benefits at no additional cost to the apprentice.
