National Apprenticeship Week 2026 at South Bronx Job Corps, is a weeklong career-focused event designed to introduce students to apprenticeship opportunities and skilled trades. Beginning April 27, the program opens with a seminar on the fundamentals of apprenticeships, followed by Industry Day showcasing trade demonstrations and training pathways. Midweek features a hands-on Cross Trade “Real World Scenario Challenge,” where students collaborate in teams to solve practical, trade-based problems, simulating real job environments. On April 30, Career Pathways Day offers resume workshops, mock interviews, and application support. The week concludes with a high-energy Career Olympics competition, promoting teamwork, skill-building, and exposure to multiple trades while reinforcing career awareness and engagement.
