Event Description

The Skills Initiative Roadshow 2025, an initiative by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Washington, D.C., in cooperation with the German American Chambers of Commerce, is aimed at fostering the development of regional partnerships between German companies and U.S. apprenticeship providers. Furthermore, it intends to leverage the interest in the German apprenticeship model and to showcase the successes and value of Registered Apprenticeship for strengthening our U.S. economy by developing a highly skilled workforce to meet industry needs and creating pathways for career seekers to catapult into in-demand jobs. Keynotes from Governor Jim Pillen, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Washington, D.C., Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, Inc. will be on the program.
