During National Apprenticeship Week, the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship, invites stakeholders from across the apprenticeship, workforce, and education ecosystem to join a 60-minute webinar exploring the value and impact of stronger alignment between Registered Apprenticeship, workforce development, and education systems. As states and communities work to meet evolving talent needs, closer collaboration among these systems has emerged as a powerful strategy to expand access, improve outcomes, and strengthen employer engagement. This webinar will highlight how intentional alignment can drive high-quality, scalable apprenticeship pathways that benefit workers, employers, and regional economies.
Participants will hear from workforce and education leaders at the state and local level about how stronger alignment across apprenticeship, workforce, and education systems can support more effective implementation of Registered Apprenticeship. The webinar will highlight examples of how states and communities are advancing alignment through leadership, partnership strategies, funding, governance, and education-to-workforce connections. Attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of what aligned apprenticeship systems can look like in practice, the roles different partners can play, and practical ideas for strengthening collaboration in their own contexts.
