Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) Hall of Flags

At 1:30, we will have a brief program with speakers, at 2pm there will be an optional statehouse tour, and at 2:30 there will be a mock public hearing for any youth who may be interested. Guests will have the opportunity to share with ELO student journalists why it’s important for young people to explore career pathways in Maine. The ELO Hall of Flags will provide an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the state, learn and raise awareness about ELO programs and partnerships, and celebrate the work happening to support career exploration for Maine’s young people. A book featuring examples of ELO students throughout the state, Career-connected Learning: Maine’s Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) Profiles of Success, will be shared at this event.
