Expanding Pathways to Progress

The NYC Apprenticeship Accelerator presents Expanding Pathways to Progress, a collaborative convening hosted by the NYC Office of Talent & Workforce Development, in partnership with SUNY Empire State University. This convening will bring together municipal leaders, employers, education partners, workforce professionals, and apprentices to strengthen apprenticeship pathways across New York City. With a particular focus on healthcare and technology, the event will highlight successful models, examine shared challenges to apprenticeship expansion, and explore system level solutions that support sustainable growth. Through panels, breakout discussions, and cross‑sector dialogue, participants will: • Learn from proven apprenticeship models in healthcare and technology • Engage with employers, educators, policymakers, and apprentices on emerging workforce needs • Explore how apprenticeship pathways are driving impact for industry and communities
