Apprenticeship is a proven, industry-driven training model that advances equity and accessibility, diversifies industries, and serves as a pipeline into good jobs. Please join us to learn more about the benefits of apprenticeships as a workplace strategy to build diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) in the entertainment industry. Attendees will: - Learn what a Registered Apprenticeship Program is and about California’s commitment to this strategy as a public/private partnership workforce development DEIA program. - Hear from nonprofits with experience in building and launching apprenticeships in the creative industry. - Hear from industry employers on navigating internal structures to pilot and launch apprenticeship programs
