LEARN BASIC CONSTRUCTION SKILLS WORK WITH LOCAL CONTRACTORS ON COMMUNITY PROJECTS IMPROVE YOUR POTENTIAL TO FIND A JOB This 2-day event brings together students to learn, contractors to teach, and sponsors to help our community grow. Day 1: Get hands-on training in trades including framing, concrete, plumbing, drywall, roofing, flooring, electrical, masonry, excavation, roofing, concrete, restoration, HVAC, electrical, welding, and siding. Day 2: Put your day 1 training to work building sheds for disabled veterans with material donated by Home Depot. Participate in either a mock or a formal interview with area contractors. Throughout the event, contractors engage participants, potentially leading to job offers.
