Event Description
As the U.S. continues to build momentum in the apprenticeship space, there’s much we can learn from countries with more established systems. Canada, for example, has an apprenticeship framework that can offer valuable insights as we work to enhance both policy and practice here at home.
On October 28th, AFA will host a webinar featuring key players in the Canadian Apprenticeship system: France Daviault, CEO of the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum, Dean Rogers of the Red Seal Secretariat, and Barbara Lapointe, Chair of the Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship.
Attendees will learn about the structure and operation of Canadian apprenticeships, with key insights into differences in governance, funding, credentialing, and more. We hope this session will offer food for thought as we work to strengthen apprenticeship here in the U.S.
