Automotive & Diesel Tech Worksite Visit for Prospective Applicants

Students will participate in guided tours of the Penske and Hudson Nissan facilities to gain firsthand exposure to a professional automotive and diesel shop environment. During these visits, students will have the opportunity to engage with former YTTW apprentices, skilled technicians, and company representatives by asking questions about specific roles, daily responsibilities, and career pathways within the industry. The event will start at Penske Truck Rental in Linden, NJ and then move over to Hudson Nissan in Jersey City, NJ. Lunch will be provided and students questions will be answered. We are inviting local members of the assembly and senate. We are sending required notification to ApprenticeshipUnit@dol.nj.gov
