Monroe County Community College's Applied Science and Technology Division, in partnership with the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance Michigan Works!, is offering an Apprenticeship Readiness Program for those who are interested in entering skilled trades. This Apprenticeship Readiness program will help you develop the skills, confidence and professional connections needed to be successful. You will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from different trades to explore apprenticeship opportunities. Who should attend? The program is open to individuals in the community who are seeking ways to enter skilled trades and who meet the eligibility requirements. Program Schedule: The Apprenticeship Readiness Program is a two-weekend program and meets in-person on two Fridays and Saturdays, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Program will include classroom instruction and hands-on lab activities in Trade Math, OSHA 10 Safety, Machining, Electrical, Welding, and Construction.
