Event Description

Set on the serene shores of historic Mackinac Island, the 2026 MEATA Spring Conference brings together educators, industry leaders, apprenticeship professionals, and workforce innovators for three days of connection and collaboration. This year’s theme—Charting the Course: Apprenticeship and Education in Action—highlights the work being done across Michigan to prepare the workforce of tomorrow. Attendees will experience a dynamic lineup of programming, including a keynote address, breakout workshops, and discussions on innovative approaches to apprenticeship and education. The conference begins May 19 with a networking reception at Mission Point Resort—an opportunity to reconnect, build partnerships, and set the stage for a meaningful event. Join us as we chart the path forward through hands-on learning, strong partnerships, and shared purpose.
