Employers

As a sponsor of an apprenticeship program, you have the opportunity to train upskilled workers to fill your specific business needs.

WHAT IS APPRENTICESHIP?

Apprenticeship is a career pathway that includes a paid-work component and an educational or instructional component, where an individual can obtain workplace-relevant knowledge and skills. By combining on-the-job learning with related classroom instruction, an apprentice's skill level-and their benefit to you-increases.

Since apprenticeship is a flexible model, programs can be customized to meet the needs of nearly every type of business and can be integrated into existing training and human resource development practices.
