Youth Registered Apprenticeship as an On-Ramp for Underrepresented Youth Populations

In honor of the first Youth Apprenticeship Week, Safal Partners is hosting a webinar in partnership with Access Point on promising practices for the recruitment and advancement of apprentices through a DEIA lens. Access Point helps talented young individuals from underrepresented communities overcome barriers to technology careers and empowers them to reach their full potential. Their HyperCare model, incorporated into their registered apprenticeship program, involves staff working hands-on with potential apprentices as early as their freshman year in high school, forming connections with participants and their families, and offering practical assistance to ensure program completion. Attendees will learn how to expand their talent pipeline through this unique, wrap-around approach to engaging underserved youth.
